MDCL negotiated this job with the client Splendid Inns to design and build a 7 storey 120 bed hotel to be run under the Express By Holiday Inn brand. The scheme was piled with careful attention for the Rotherhithe Tunnel which runs under the building. The bathrooms were prefabricated pods that were craned into position.
