Mitchell’s employ an external assessor to review the business and its locations of work on a regular basis to ensure all good working practices are maintained. We also subscribe to CHAS and Considerate Constructors.

Community

Mitchell’s during the course of each scheme pro-actively involve the local community both through charitable work and educational involvement. Where possible we also promote the use of local employment.

Wellbeing

Workplace mental wellbeing is key to ensuring a healthy workforce. Mitchell’s have nominated trained mental health first aiders with whom private assistance and support can be given.

Environmental Sustainability

Construction can be perceived as unsustainable and negative to the environment. Mitchell’s invest a lot of time in ensuring all factors are considered to mitigate the impact of our schemes on the environment. Through the use of sustainable materials and the implementation of new technologies such as the generation of renewable energy or the provision of electric car chargers and good landscaping. Through BREEAM we strive to achieve EXCELLENT on all our schemes and A+ Energy Performance Certificates.
